Each year, Minnesota Community Caring for Children spotlights tribes and communities statewide that have consistently worked to create safe and healthy environment for children. The Pinwheel Award is presented annually to recognized community  that exemplify a strong commitment to the prevention to the prevention of child maltreatment through collaborative efforts. Work at the community level is crucial to creating environments where families and children thrive.
