Peer Recovery Support

Peer recovery support services are services that are designed and delivered by people who, themselves, have experienced both substance abuse disorder and recovery. Theyknow what it’s like to be an addict, to struggle with the daily pressures and stress, to overcome the guilt, sadness, confusion, to try to find a job, rebuild careers, relationships, and self-esteem.

Telephone Recovery Support

Calls to people in or seeking recovery to “check in” to provide support, encouragement and information about community resources, recovery meetings or other supports that may help them initiate or maintain their recovery.

Chemical Health Assessment

Chemical health assessments are available on a flexible schedule. We offer our assessments in an On-Demand fashion, including evenings and Saturdays, by appointment. We want to be available for our clients when they need our help. The assessor understands that each person’s experience with chemical dependency is unique.

By our Silence we let others define us. At Recovery Is Happening we believe that everyone deserves to find the place from which they draw strength… Because our proven addiction treatment, is just the beginning of a life in recovery. We want to inspire you to find your inner grit, rekindle your interests and engage your passion. Recovery is a lifelong journey and our goal is to prepare you for the long haul.

Parent Recovery Liaison

PRL is an innovative program using peer support to help parents struggling with substance use challenges as they try to navigate the child welfare and protective service systems. The Parent Recovery Liaison are parents themselves; they are in long term recovery; and they have actually “been there” when it comes to child welfare and protective services. Their ability to empathize provides a unique support, leading to real empowerment for the caregivers currently involved in the difficulties of the child welfare and child protection services system. Recovery from addiction is a family affair.
